Appropriate training materials will be prepared on the basis of the data collected on board (seafarers' health competence and health risk).
The findings on the health competence and health risk of seafarers gained during the study phase (see work package 3) will form the basis for a culturally sensitive behaviour and situational prevention as well as for the e-health training module to be developed.
In addition, the data collected is used for the production of information material on health-related behaviour. Within the e-healthy ship project, information materials (digital) presenting good practice examples are to be produced in English and distributed among shipowners. In doing so, cultural and occupational group-specific differences are taken into account, in particular with regard to different nutritional and physical activity behaviour of the crew members.
The aim is to illustrate the findings, for example in the form of health quiz questions and target group-oriented training material. The materials can be used by the health officer to motivate the crew members to develop an awareness of nutrition, exercise and ergonomics. Important topics of the training module relate to the areas of nutrition, exercise and ergonomics on board.
